CONSUMER PUBLICATIONS

The Montana Office of Tourism publications provide flavorful and factual coverage of Montana's year-round recreation and attractions to visitors of all ages. They are often a potential visitor's first glimpse at what Montana has to offer and play an important part in the vacation planning process of travelers. Providing accurate, reader-friendly information, the guides are easy to use and visually portray Montana at its best. The publications also present Montana businesses with affordable opportunities to advertise through the Vacation Planner and the Winter Guide.

The guides have been designed to be used in conjunction with the Montana Office of Tourism's website, visitmt.com. Consumers can use the printed guides, supplemented by visitmt.com to access information about Montana attractions, accommodations and services for complete vacation planning.

Montana Vacation Planner

Explore Montana’s regions and towns, national parks, history, culture, Indian reservations, wildlife, exhilarating adventures, ranch vacations, state parks, dinosaurs, regional attractions, events and comprehensive listings of accommodations and services.  Ready for distribution in February.  Also available on online at visitmt.com.

Montana Winter Guide

Ready in August, this guide is filled with details on downhill ski resorts, Montana's groomed snowmobile trail systems and cross-country ski trails, and snowcoach tours. Also included is a directory featuring more than 80 businesses offering services such as car rentals, lodging, guided adventures, snowmobile rentals, and more. Partners in this effort include: the Montana Office of Tourism, the Bureau of Land Management, U.S.D.A. Forest Service, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, and the Montana Snowmobile Association.  Also available online at wintermt.com.

Montana Highway Map

A cooperative effort between the Montana Office of Tourism and the Montana Department of Transportation, the highway map features general road information, city and town maps, and points of interest within Montana's six vacation regions.

Montana Indian Reservations Brochure

This 20" x 18", four-color brochure serves as a visitors' guide to the seven Indian reservations and eleven tribes in Montana. It includes a brief description of each reservation, along with a calendar of events.

Kid Friendly Montana

Used as an educational tool for children in the fourth through seventh grades, the four-color Kid Friendly Montana brochure is also an enticement piece to encourage families to visit Montana. This 8-1/2" x 11" self-mailer opens to a poster featuring colorful graphics and snippets of facts on the state.
